Noon Weather Update – (Friday, August 9th)
Widely isolated showers and thunderstorms have started to develop across portions of the tristate area this afternoon. At this time, one thunderstorm is tracking through Morris County while another develops in the Wilkes-Barre area. Should the latter hold together it will likely affect parts of the county area in a couple of hours. Just something to keep an eye on….
Pleasant weather is expected throughout the area over the next few days with the next chance for rain, aside from this afternoon, likely holding off until the middle of next week. Look for temperatures to remain in the lower to middle 80s for highs this weekend with plenty of sunshine.
