Beautiful weather is on tap for the tristate area today as a cooler, drier air mass fills in the wake of last night’s frontal passage. Look for skies to remain mostly clear with temperatures this afternoon warming well into the 50s and lower 60s for highs.
Similar weather conditions are expected again on Thursday as high pressure continues to keep the area in check. However, come Friday our weather will undergo some changes as high pressure moves offshore and a cold front moves in from the west.
The chance for showers will increase late in the day on Friday and is likely to linger into part of Saturday morning. Aside from the chance for showers early in the day on Saturday a fairly nice weekend is on tap with warm temperatures. At this time, the chance for rain looks to return to the area late Sunday and on Monday.
